Fascial Manipulation
A session of fascial manipulation is a therapeutic treatment aimed at enhancing the health and function of the connective tissue known as fascia. Fascia is a three-dimensional network of tissue that wraps around, supports, and connects muscles, bones, organs, and other tissues in the body. During a fascial manipulation session, the therapist uses a range of manual techniques to influence the fascia and surrounding tissues.
The goal of fascial manipulation is to improve flexibility, mobility, and comfort by releasing accumulated tension in the fascia. It's important to communicate with the therapist during the session to ensure that the pressure and techniques used are tailored to your needs and comfort.

How does it work?
Initial Assessment: The session begins with an evaluation of your health status, symptoms, and areas of tension or discomfort you might be experiencing.
Preparation and Relaxation: Typically, you'll be asked to lie on a massage table or sit in a comfortable position. The therapist will aim to create a relaxing atmosphere to help you feel at ease.
Manipulation Techniques: The therapist will use a variety of light and subtle manual movements to influence the fascia. These movements might include gentle pulls, pressures, stretches, and targeted rotations.
Guided Movement: In some sessions, the therapist might ask you to perform specific movements while they apply gentle pressures or pulls on the fascia. This actively engages the tissues during treatment.
Results and Recommendations: At the end of the session, the therapist may provide post-treatment recommendations, such as drinking water for hydration or doing some simple stretching exercises.
Treatment Plan: If necessary, the therapist will discuss an ongoing treatment plan, which might involve multiple sessions to address specific challenges you're facing.
